COPLAI
Controllable thinking AI
Why COPLAI?
ADVANTAGES
COPLAI provides you with solutions at a significantly lower cost than tools developed with ML or generative AI:
No need for 1000s of cases as training material.
Support right from the start – significant time savings after just a short time.
Supplement the sorcerer’s apprentice with a skilled expert.
As a company, you are in a position to use and further develop AI in a cost-effective and transparent manner. Decide how much transparency you need.
COPLAI applications are installed on standard PCs, pads and smartphones and used with low energy consumption.
… because the processed theories have never been implemented in such a compiled way.
Hardly anyone does data processing anymore, everyone does artificial intelligence. When asked what that is, most people say learning algorithms. “Yes, what do they learn?” you might ask, as Loriot did. Well, what, data ….
We’re already wondering: so artificial intelligence is just data processing after all? And we humans – we don’t learn data, we “file it away”. We learn texts, spoken texts as children, and since we are at least half-grown, more and more written texts, in perhaps ten major “world languages” and around 8000 languages in total, with billions of text documents now on the Internet and certainly many billions more in libraries, private, proprietary and public.
Is AI also “just data processing?”
What form of AI is COPLAI?
To differentiate our approach from data-oriented artificial intelligence, we refer to it as digital thinking. At a minimum, when I communicate in one of the “big” languages, I expect the artificial intelligence to respond in my language and think in my language. For those interested in the philosophical or practical implications, Wittgenstein’s views on language are relevant. Even if the human user of the artificial intelligence is unaware of Wittgenstein’s contributions. When generating texts, it is important to be familiar with the objects being discussed and the relationships between them. Once this is understood, it is then possible to learn the terms in the relevant language and the rules for putting them together grammatically. This is known as Chomsky syntax and is a useful tool for experts. Once this is mastered, it can be applied practically, with the result that the text is generated automatically. This should be a skill that a child should have acquired by the age of five or six.
Understanding more complex texts is a different matter entirely. It is beyond the capabilities of Alexa or even an intelligent poodle. To understand a text, one must comprehend the objects the author is referring to, whether it is a lawyer or a book author. Additionally, one must grasp the relationships between these objects and the topic at hand. Finally, one must discern the language used in the text. What does “in principle” mean in this context? Is it absolute or under all circumstances? This may be the case, but it is unlikely to be the case if the text has been written by a non-native speaker.
